Scrubs In The City - Rome
This year I attended the Scrubs in the City - when in Rome addition and I was extremely impressed! The event was majestic with everything from performers - cirque de soleil style - pouring you champagne to exquisite roman decor.
The event was in support of the Hospital for Sick Children (Sick Kids) and raised $820, 000 in support of the hospital - helping to build brand-new clinical facilities designed to accommodate cutting-edge best practices and technology, attract wold-class medical leaders, and provide the best comfort and care to children and their families.
To date the event has raised over $5 million in support of some of the most critical needs in the hospital. The volunteer Committee of the event included some of Toronto's top fashionista's including Suzanne Rogers & Sylvia Mantella.
Nothing feels better than supporting local charity events while having a ton of fun! It was definitely a night to remember and I will be continuing to attend every year. Cheers to La Dolce Vita!
